Cafe Schellack in Wachenheim an der Weinstrasse

On our tour through the wonderful Palatinate, along the German Wine Route, we made a stop here, as the Schloss Wachenheim sparkling wine cellar is also located there, which we wanted to see and take photos. In this context, we have really enjoyed delicious treats in your coffee. With pleasure every now and then. A wonderful ambience rounded off our pleasant stay, for which we simply say thank you. Gladly five out of five 🌟 stars and we look forward to the next time. Then surely in the evening, with tapas & Co with fabulous wines.

Nice service, great cake only the coffee was a disaster

Despite the yawning emptiness on a Tuesday, the child assistants were unable to assign us a place. With the hint everything (!) Would be reserved, she wanted to know whether we just wanted to drink or eat something. What if all seats are reserved? The finest gastronomy.

Always a nice central place to go out in Wachenheim. Good wines and small dishes like tapas. Nice outdoor seating and original interior. Outside you sit directly on the street (with exhaust gases) but also in the central square, but you can also see all the expensive high-class cars and high-class cars from KA, MA, KL, WO, MA, LU, etc. And that has a certain entertainment value.

The location is very good, in a historical quartier with a very good atmosfere. We ordered 2 glass of wine and tapas (chees and ham). We recived the glass of wine immedietly but after 1 hour and 30 min they asked us if we had recived our order or not. Service totaly unprofesional. it's a pity becouse the wine was very good.

We have been allocated a beautiful place outside without reservation. The waitresses were very friendly Let us fill out the mandatory note for Corona and then took the order. Delicious cakes and coffee and the salads at the next table looked appetizing. We will be back

Nice rustic cafe. Very nice interiors in the old farmhouse. Opened like a medieval inn. Homemade very good cakes. Extended menu. Good Palatinate wines. Well frequented pub. Service very good. We recommend. Fun in the restaurant.

We went to the Shellac Cafe on February 22nd, 2018 because we were longing for the good cheesecake. Ordered on site, but when it came, it looked different than usual, tasted different and the piece was also a lot smaller than usual. When we asked, we were told that the cake was not baked as usual, but by the Barbarossa bakery !. the whole mini piece for 3.50 euros. Impudence.

No good service. You wait forever until someone picks up an order and is served. The cafe itself is very nice, food and wine good. With good staff, it would certainly be a direct hit.

Flammkuchen is delicious! Loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly service! Much recommended!

A real treasure in Wachenheim very good coffee A very cozy atmosphere and then the cake 🍰 there are homemade cheesecake apple poppy seed cake Kirschenplotzer and marble cake and also a small selection of bourgeois food to a very good wine selection and then the cake 👏
